Developed by John Veale, New Zealand Optometrist, this simple and practical colour screening test is very effective in colour deficiency assessment. It is ideal for children (they don’t have to know the name of the colours), handicap, and illiterate people where English may not be their first language. It is a lot of fun for them and occasionally a little challenging. Includes a stand and instructions.
Sometimes it is used by the eye care specialist to distract the child when testing a parents’ eyes which have been known to pick up a colour deficiency in the child.
